STYLISH ELEGANCE

The interior has been restored and furnished in keeping with the tradition of The Castle, but with a modern twist. The emphasis on style, quality and sophistication is reflected throughout the public rooms and accommodation. Sumptuous soft furnishings and carefully chosen furniture.

GRAND ENTRANCE

A roaring fire awaits you in the main entrance to The Castle, with stairs leading to the public rooms on the first floor.

PUBLIC ROOMS

The Ballroom, Library and Dining Room are located on the first floor, offering flexible options for your visit.

BEDROOMS

Our suites are all unique with their own identity but the one aspect that remains constant is the quality and attention to detail which has been afforded to each of our bedrooms. Each suite has its own separate bathroom with free standing baths, luxury towelling robes and Molton Brown toiletries.

The following suites are located on the first floor in the East Wing of The Castle:
The Crawford Suite, The George Suite, The Alexander Suite, The Kathryn Suite, The Loudoun Suite and The Gray Suite and The Turnbull Suite.

The following suites are located on the second floor:
The Lorimer Suite, The Ross Suite, The Mure Suite and The Campbell Suite

All rooms have hairdryers, TV’s with cable, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. The Butler’s Room on the 2nd floor has a refrigerator with fresh milk, an ironing board, iron and sewing kit for your convenience.

BOOKING TERMS
A 10% deposit will be required to secure the venue at time of booking, with full payment made one month prior to visit. Payment can be made by cheque or by card over the telephone by calling 01563 530550.

On the day of arrival, a £500 returnable deposit will be taken to secure any accidental damage. This will be returned on departure if no damage occurs.

ROOM BY ROOM

Main Reception Hallway.
The door to the right of the main reception hallway leads to the ground floor accommodation.

An area for wet clothing and shoes is located through the door on the right hand side of the hallway.
To the left of this area, a door leads to the Breakfast Dining Room on the right, the Conference Room straight ahead and the Lounge to the left.

First Floor – Public Rooms.
The Ballroom, Library and Formal Dining Room are located on the first floor of The Castle.

First Floor Bedroom Suites.
To the right of the main stairway on the first floor is the Tartan Corridor, leading to seven suites.
The first opening on the right hand side of the Tartan Corridor leads to five of the suites

The Crawford Suite – through the first door on the right hand side of the corridor and up stairs.

The George Suite – second door on the right.

The Alexander Suite – follow the corridor and the third door on the right leads to stairs to the Alexander Suite.

The Kathryn Suite – the last door on the right hand side of the Tartan Corridor.

The Gray Suite – the last door on the left hand side.

Going straight ahead in the Tartan Corridor leads you to:
The Turnbull Suite is the first door on the left.
The Loudoun Suite is the last door on the right hand side. The bedroom of The Loudoun Suite is on the left, with the bathroom and sitting room on the right of the corridor.

Second Floor Bedroom Suites
Take the main stairway from the first floor to a further three suites and the single occupancy accommodation.

The Lorimer Suite – halfway up the main stairs, the door on the right leads to The Lorimer Suite

The Ross Suite – on the landing, the door on the right leads to The Ross Suite

The Mure Suite – on the landing, the door on the left leads to The Mure Suite.

The Campbell Suite – on the landing, straight ahead leads to The Campbell Suite.

The Butler’s Room  is also located on the second floor.  You will find an ironing board, iron, shoe cleaning kit, clothes brush, sewing kit and refrigerator with fresh milk and water.
