A masterpiece of late Victorian Arts & Crafts design by Scottish Architect Robert Lorimer, everything about a Rowallan Castle wedding is designed to make your day truly special – from your exclusive use castle venue to the luxury accommodation, and unique photo opportunities in Ayrshire’s stunning countryside.

With a stunning backdrop across the entire first floor of public rooms as well as over 600 acres of land, the castle offers a fabulous backdrop for weddings, receptions and banquets for up to 100 (seated) guests, while the Croquet Lawn to the south of the Castle provides picture-perfect marquee views, with capacity for up to a 300-seat marquee.

Our in-house, locally-based wedding coordinator works with each and every guest to ensure each day is unique and special, while our variety of luxury suites combine character with refinement, allowing you the perfect day – from start to finish.

With the best photo opportunities afforded to a Scottish castle wedding, our extensive grounds offer views over Ailsa Craig and Arran, as well as a fairy-tale backdrop against our 12th Century castle.

Set on the grounds of one of Ayrshire’s best golf courses, the castle sleeps up to 21 people – with exclusive private dining available, tailored to your exact requirements and every need.

OUR LOCATION

Just a short drive from Glasgow International and Prestwick airports, Rowallan Castle is ideally situated for guests. Executive transport can be provided to and from the venues, and a helicopter landing area is available on the grounds.

Rowallan Castle is a great venue for a wedding. The castle is stunning and the Events team and staff make sure the day goes as smoothly as possible. The food was excellent and the Rooms are amazing to stay over. I would definitely recommend it.
