WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT ROWALLAN

I played Rowallan Castle again and I have got to say it is a must play golf course, it is a great addition to the Scottish circuit. A tough but fair course, wide fairways, big greens well protected by the bunkers. Some spectacular views around the course, So many good holes, starting with the tough 1st, the par 3’s are a test for your iron play. Hole 16 is a real par 5, when you stand on 18, what a super looking finishing hole going back to the Castle.

I could go on about the rest of the holes but I will let you find out for yourself, 15 mins from Glasgow. Monty must be very proud of the way his design turned out.

I thoroughly enjoyed a recent golf outing to Rowallan Castle Golf Club. The course was challenging but enjoyable and the Clubhouse facilities were superb. I will certainly be returning to Rowallan in the future.

We were down playing at Rowallan today.  I just wanted to email to say how much we had enjoyed the course.  It was in lovely condition and the clubhouse facilities were excellent. Thanks again

Dear Mr Campbell, we spoke briefly in the carpark this afternoon along with my friend Tom Rodger whose childhood was spent at Rowallan. I felt compelled to write to you to compliment you on a terrific layout. I accept that you had a poor start to the summer with the rather wet weather and the fairways will probably need overseeding but nonetheless it is a wonderful experience.

I do hope your membership grows as the course’s reputation must be spreading far and wide. With a bit of good fortune I would hope to come back again and perhaps play a little better!! Please pass on my compliments to your greenkeepers.

Just a quick email to say that our game on Tuesday 16th of August was absolutely first class. The clubhouse facilities were fantastic and had the staff to match and we thank you for our day.

The golf course itself was brilliant, even though we probably played it on the worst day of the week for weather, but that could not dampen our spirits as the layout of the course was superb and the variety of shots to be played made it a tough but very enjoyable challenge.

If my wife would let me join a third course I would but until then maybe another visit will do, on a dry day. Hope to play again soon as it has left me with that golfer’s itch to return and not play the shots that you thought were right the first time!
